We seek a Sales Specialist focused on Cloud & Cybersecurity solutions with 3 years of technology sales experience. You will work with a world class team of solution architects and industry experts to generate new customers to exceed sales quotas while increasing customer satisfaction. We seek a true hunter for this role. You must be a self-motivated individual who is very comfortable building new sales processes and customer value propositions.

This position will require lead generation and the emphasis is new customer acquisition. Ideally, you will have a working understanding of technology solutions, including Managed Services, Cybersecurity, Networking, and Cloud solutions. Your primary focus will be selling MSP services and Security-as-a-Service to small and medium sized accounts throughout Houston, Texas.

Our client offers great training in its products and services. Once you're trained and ready, you will be given both the support and autonomy to succeed. You may work from headquarters or a home office, but the goal is to be in front of customers as much as possible. You will have clear, measurable goals, a short sales cycle to manage (30 to 45 days on average), a competitive base, and uncapped commission potential.



What you will do

  • Find new Managed IT Services and Cybersecurity opportunities with new clients
  • Prospect for new business via cold calls, emails, and networking event
  • Partner with the marketing and product teams to develop strong value propositions to our clients
  • Meet with prospective and existing clients through lunch and learns, dinner meetings, client visits, and entertainment
  • Partner with Leadership on continual business development processes
  • Develop, present, and close new business proposals


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3+ years Technology sales and field account management, preferably with a SaaS, an MSP, Value-Added-Reseller or IT Solution Provider
  • Proven success in outside sales
  • Ability to follow up with prospects and maintain a strong pipeline of new business
  • Self-motivated with a professional and personable demeanor
